Come along to Knit and Natter

Crochet lessons, biggest tea cosy ever, good coffee and delicious biscuits – all part of our friendly Knit & Natter sessions in the Village Hall 10 – noon term time Wednesdays. Come and join us!

Jazz Evening

Come along to “Monkton Farleigh Jazz Night”  on Saturday 30th  June at  7 pm Village Hall.  Tickets are £10 per person to include a ploughman’s supper and tea/coffee. Tickets are available from Di Dobson on 01225 851176.

On Friday, 28th December 2017 at the Village Coffee Morning, a presentation was made to celebrate the contributions to the community made by Sally and Ralph Adams.
Colin Dobson, Chairman of the Village Hall committee, especially thanked Sally who has looked after and run the bookings for the village hall for many years as well as helping to care for St Peter’s Church. Thank You Phyllis

On Friday, 28th December 2017 at the Village Coffee Morning, a presentation was made to celebrate the contributions to the community made by Phyllis Thorne, who served on the Parish Council for many years, restarted our Neighbourhood Watch program and was instrumental in setting up the village Coffee Mornings, was thanked and presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers by Matthew Midlane, Chairman of the Parish Council.

Cleaner Wanted for the Village Hall and St. Peter’s Church

Monkton Farleigh Village Hall and St. Peter’s Church are both looking for a cleaner following the retirement of the present cleaner.  The Church requires about 1 hour per week and the Village Hall about 1.5 hours per week. Coffee Mornings in the Village Hall

There is a coffee morning every other week in the Village Hall so that everyone can get together and chat, drink coffee and eat cake.  The dates are in the website calendar.
